The Festival in the Park is a one day juried art exhibition presented by the Lachenmeyer Arts Center and Cushing Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  The art exhibit will take place on Saturday, October 9, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Memorial Park in Cushing, Oklahoma.  The Festival includes live entertainment all day, a 5K Run, chili cook off, children’s activities, food booths, and more.

The Festival in the Park is open to fine arts media.  Each artist must submit three color slides, photographs, or jpegs that are representational of their work.  Please mark each slide or photograph with name, title, size, and media and indicate the top.  A self-addressed, stamped envelope must be enclosed for the return of your slides or photographs.  You may also list your website instead of sending photographs or slides.  All artwork must be the work of the individual artist.  Work from molds or kits, manufactured or commercial items will not be accepted.  T-shirts and wearable art may not be sold.  Only original, signed work will be accepted for judging.
